Your School's Student Health Insurance Plan uses the UnitedHealthcare Pharmacy Network.

How do I find a participating pharmacy?

United's pharmacy network includes national retail pharmacies such as CVS and Walgreens, as well as local independent pharmacies. To locate a participating pharmacy, visit us online and enter your school's name, then choose the "Find Pharmacy" link.

How do I find a listing of covered prescription drugs?

The formulary can be found online. Choose your school name, then click on "Find Pharmacy" and use the drop-down to select the "PBM National" link.

How do I fill my prescription at a pharmacy?

To pay only a co-payment for prescriptions they must be filled at a UnitedHealthcare participating pharmacy. Show your ID card when filling a prescription to be charged the applicable copayments for your prescription drug program.


How can I submit a claim for a prescription paid for out-of-pocket?

Is Mail Order Service available?

Yes. Medications that are taken for a chronic condition can be filled for up to a 90-day supply using UnitedHealthcare's (UHC) Network Pharmacy Mail Service Prescription Drug Program. Mail order Prescription Drugs are available at 2.5 times the retail copay up to a 90-day supply up to the maximum allowed benefit.

The Mail Order program is not available within 45 days of the policy terminating. Please consult with your provider to have your monthly prescriptions filled at your local retail pharmacy. The Mail Order program will available again for new policy year.
